Q: How high a temperature can a APUT straight tee withstand?
A: Generally, the temperature range that an ordinary APUT straight tee can withstand is between -20℃ and 80℃. If the temperature of the conveying medium exceeds this range, the performance of the APUT material may deteriorate, affecting the service life and sealing performance of the straight tee. When used in high or low temperature environments, special materials or corresponding protective measures must be selected according to actual conditions. For example, in a high temperature environment, a high temperature resistant APUT straight tee can be selected, and an insulation layer can be installed; in a low temperature environment, the pipe insulation should be done well to prevent the fluid in the pipe from freezing and damaging the pipe fittings.
