How to choose the most suitable triplex for your automation equipment?
1. Core selection parameters
Select the appropriate connection diameter according to the gas connection requirements. Common interface sizes include G1/8, G1/4, G3/8, G1/2, G3/4, G1, etc. Ensure that the triplex interface matches the existing gas pipeline.
Flow rate is a key parameter. The total required flow rate of the back-end pneumatic components (solenoid valves and cylinders) must be calculated to determine the diameter size.
Select accuracy according to air quality requirements. Common specifications: 5μm, 10μm, 25μm, 50μm. In dusty environments, higher-precision filters should be selected.
Choose manual or automatic drainage. Automatic drainage is easier to maintain and suitable for large systems or hard-to-reach locations.
The regulating range should cover 30%-80% of the upper limit of operating pressure. Max pressure is usually 1.0MPa, with some products reaching 1.6MPa.
Consider ambient temperature (usually 0-50°C) and oil mist requirements. If components are oil-free, the lubricator can be omitted.
2. High Quality AG Series FRL Combination Selection Advantages
Our AG series triplexes feature a modular design, offering flexible configuration options:
- Flexible combination Choose between filter/pressure reducing valve combination (two-piece) or the complete three-piece set according to your needs.
- Precise adjustment Adopts balanced voltage regulation structure for good stability, high precision, and sensitive response.
- Strong and durable Guaranteed pressure resistance of 1.5MPa—much higher than the conventional 1.0MPa—providing a higher safety margin and long life.
- Wide pressure range Wide pressure adjustment range (such as 15-0.9 MPa) to adapt to various pneumatic requirements.
3. Installation and Usage Recommendations
Installation Order: The air filter should be installed first, followed by the pressure reducing valve, and finally the lubricator. Always follow the airflow direction indicated by the arrow on the housing.
Maintenance: Use ISO VG32 or equivalent grade oil. For oil mist, adjust the blowing speed to approximately 20-30 drops/minute.
