[Note] Non-standard stroke cylinders that differ 1 to 5 mm from the standard stroke are modified from the previous level standard stroke cylinders and have the same overall dimensions.
For example, a non-standard stroke cylinder with a stroke of 86 is modified from a standard cylinder with a standard stroke of 90, and its external dimensions are the same as that of the standard cylinder; however, a non-standard stroke cylinder with a stroke of 84 can only be ordered as a non-standard cylinder because it differs by 6mm from the previous standard stroke of 90.

FAQ

  • Q: What are the characteristics and functions of the guide rods and bearings?

A: The two guide rods are made of special bearing steel and guided by either linear bearings or bronze bearings. This design gives the cylinder high resistance to torsional forces and lateral loads. The steel ball linear bearing is suitable for cylinder thrust applications or applications requiring high precision and high load capacity, and performs particularly well in environments requiring low-friction motion. The bronze plain bearing is suitable for cylinder braking applications and other applications subject to radial loads. Compared to conventional brake cylinders, it offers over twice the resistance to lateral impact and greater torsional stiffness.
