Q: What precautions should be taken when installing an air gripper?

A: ① Air Supply: Ensure the air source is clean and dry. We recommend installing a filter, pressure reducing valve, and oil mist collector (triple-piece) in the air supply line. ② Fixing: Tighten the mounting screws using the required screws and torque, avoiding overtightening that could cause deformation of the gripper. ③ Cushioning: In high-cycle or high-speed applications, it is recommended to install a throttle valve or muffler at the exhaust port of the solenoid valve to adjust the speed, reduce shock and noise, and protect the gripper. ④ Load: Ensure the center of gravity of the load (workpiece + fingertip) is located at the center of the gripper to avoid eccentric load moments that could affect gripper life and accuracy.
