FAQ
-
Q: Why is periodic drainage necessary? How do I operate it?
A: One of the core functions of a filter pressure reducing valve is to separate and collect liquid water and oil from compressed air. If not drained periodically, these liquids may be reintroduced into the airflow, damaging downstream equipment or causing unstable pressure settings. For manual drain types, please press the drain valve at least daily or when the liquid level reaches 1/2 to 2/3 of the observation window to drain.

Q: Does the filter cartridge need to be replaced? How often should it be replaced?
A: Yes, the filter cartridge is a consumable and needs to be replaced regularly. The replacement cycle depends on the level of contamination in the compressed air, the airflow rate, and environmental conditions. Generally, the filter cartridge needs to be replaced when the pressure drop across the filter regulator increases significantly, drainage is impaired, or the quality of the outlet air deteriorates. We recommend checking it every 6-12 months.
